It is time for the first training sessions. Clubs and their players start laying their foundations in order to reach the competitions at the highest level. To do so, many of them opt for tours in Austria or the United States. Some of our players are wearing new shirts. It is always exciting to face new challenges.

Cameroon advance to AFCON quarter-finals
André Onana's Cameroon team remains unbeaten in the Trophy. Three wins and a draw have taken them into the quarter-finals, where they will face Gambia. The match will take place on Saturday 29 January at the Japoma stadium (Douala).
Olympique Marseille buys Pau Lopez permanently
Pau Lopez is now officially an Olympique Marseille player until 2026. After his 20th game on loan in Marseille, Olympique have activated the compulsory purchase option. Therefore, Pau sums up his relationship with AS Roma to become a full-time Olympien.

Filip makes his official debut with Villarreal CF First Team
Last Wednesday was a special day for Goal Family. Filip Jorgensen made his official debut with the Villarreal first team. It happened in a Copa del Rey match in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz). Jorgensen came on in the second half and the match ended with Villarreal winning 1-7.

Intense game between Espanyol and Atletico
It was a demanding game and both teams wanted the three points. Espanyol was the first team to score, an insufficient goal after Atlético's subsequent comeback. Atletico had a goal disallowed, but were able to settle the game with a goal in the 79th minute and another in the 99th. Manu Morlanes, for his part, put in a good performance during his 60 minutes on the pitch.
Pau Lopez makes his official debut for Olympique
Last Saturday (September the 11th), Pau Lopez, Marseille goalkeeper, made his debut in an official match with his new club. Having fully recovered from his shoulder injury, Pau featured in Olympique's 2-0 win over Monaco. The match took place at the Louis II stadium in Monaco.

Manu Morlanes has now joined on loan Spanish RCD Espanyol. After successful preseason in Villarreal CF, Manu starts a new project in Barcelona City. Morlanes is a young (22) skilful midfielder with exclusive game vision and ball touch. With this move, Manu is looking forward to help de white and blue team in La Liga.
Diego Fuoli will now defend UD Almeria's colours
Diego Fuoli, Spanish goalkeeper from Zaragoza who grew up in Villarreal's youth academy, leaves CE Sabadell to join UD Almería. Fuoli is a young talented player (23) with ambition and desire to continue progressing in his career. Good luck in this new stage under the red and white goalposts.
Gerard Deulofeu already training with the squad after injury
Gerard Deulofeu is now fully recovered from his past injuries and has been training with his teammates for weeks. Last July, Gerard already travelled with the squad to Austria, where they carried out a challenging pre-season training camp. Deulo is stronger than ever and looking forward to the start of the competitions for Udinese Calcio.

The 20-year-old striker Gassan Ahadme is starting a new adventure at Portsmouth FC in the League One. Gassan arrives at Portsmouth on loan, as he is still owned by Norwich City. Ahadme is a versatile and well-rounded player who is now looking to help the legendary British club with his goals and attacking moves.
Roger Riera joins Andorra FC
The centre back from Masnou (Barcelona), Roger Riera, joins FC Andorra to bring his defensive skills and game vision to the Andorran squad. Riera is a hard-working player with wide experience in professional football, despite his 25 years of age. Good luck in your new team, Roger!

Cameroonian striker Kevin Soni has been transferred to Asteras Tripolis in the Greek Super League. He comes from Celta Vigo, where he has had a satisfactory season in the reserve team on loan. Soni leaves Girona FC, where he has been a part of the club for the last few seasons. Kevin is motivated in this new stage in the first division of the Hellenic country.
